For decades, Napa Valley vintner culture shunned the pairing of wine with Mexican food. In this week’s Tribune, we discuss the inaugural La Onda music festival’s plans to embrace the pairings and to highlight Latino-owned wineries.

Also, we cover the City Council’s decision to ensure the Pride flags are raised in a timely manner for the month of June following last year’s two-week delay. The ceremony will be held on Friday, May 31 at 4 p.m. across from City Hall.
