Since 2004, more than 2,400 local papers and 60% of journalism jobs have been lost to national media conglomerates or have closed, creating news deserts throughout the country. Our nonprofit news organization will reverse that trend in Napa Valley and restore a vibrant and engaged locally owned media. Local media ownership is the only path to ensuring a sustainable news environment that reflects the diverse communities.

No, your membership to the Calistoga Tribune is not considered a charitable donation for tax purposes. If you would like to make a charitable donation, you can donate to the Napa Valley News Group (NVNG), a 501(c)(3) non-profit that evolved from Highway 29 Media. 100% of your tax deductible contribution goes to support local news and local journalists right here in Napa Valley. All funds previously raised for Highway 29 have been transferred to NVNG, ensuring that every donation continues to support our mission of preserving local news. Tax ID: 93-4662744
