This week in the Tribune, we talk with Calistoga High School students who are engineering two inventions that will assist firefighters and agricultural workers in regulating body temperature while on the jobs. In addition to successfully raising raising enough funds that will pay to send the 32-student class to MIT in Boston this summer, the class is in the process of raising an additional $100,000 which will allow the engineering program to continue at CHS.

Also, read about Adventist Health. St. Helena Hospital Foundation’s food drive efforts that assist hundreds of Calistogans every month.

And, read about the latest updates on funding needs and opening date predictions for the northernmost portion of the Napa Valley Vine Trail that will connect Calistoga to St. Helena along Highway 29.
