This week in the Tribune, we report the City Council’s decision on Tuesday to return $40,000 of city funding to the Teen Center. The decision that was made after more than 200 residents and supporters attended a council meeting last month urging the council to undo the funding cut to the youth program.

We also report on Napa County’s implementation of AI-powered translation services for Board of Supervisor meetings and ask the question: Could Calistoga benefit from a similar program?

In retail news, St. Helena’s women clothing store Amelia Claire will be making a move to 1441 Lincoln Ave. after 35 years in St. Helena. The shop, owned by St. Helenan Rene Sculatti, is slated to open locally on July 1 at the location of the recently closed Calistoga Wine Stop.
