This week in the Tribune: Crystal Geyser Water Co. announced plans to close their production facility, ending Calistoga’s century-long role as a source for sparkling water. The city is also getting tough on the collection of some $400,000 in unpaid water bills, threatening to cut off services if arrangements can’t be worked out. Finally, Mayor Donald Williams has proposed sweeping out nearly all incumbent appointees to the city’s boards and commissions and replacing them with new candidates.
